What this is

Milentarium is an independent review site for players in the UK. Eight games hang in the collection, and every one has been played through by us and reviewed in full: what you do, who it suits, the platforms it plays on, how a session runs, where to stop and what it can cost after you buy it.

  • Free to read, with no account, subscription or payment of any kind.
  • We do not provide, host or download any games, and we sell nothing.
  • We take no payments and run no gambling, prize draws or competitions.
  • Official-site buttons open the developer’s or publisher’s own page and nothing else.

Why a museum

A good gallery doesn’t shout. It hangs a few things well, tells you plainly what you are looking at and lets you decide how long to stay. We wanted a games site that behaves the same way: no autoplaying trailers, no countdowns, no buy buttons, just a small collection reviewed with care.

The rooms are hung in order of the age each world evokes, from crowns and folk tales to the far frontier, which lets very different games sit side by side without being ranked against each other. And every museum has a closing time: the visit planner is ours.

Who writes the reviews

A small group of long-time players. Between us we cover strategy, puzzle and mystery games, life sims, co-op and family play, and we pay close attention to accessibility and comfort settings. A game gets a plaque only after one of us has played it properly, and games made for playing together are played with other people.

Conflicts of interest

If one of us has a personal or professional link to a game, someone else reviews it and the plaque says so. We accept review copies, and they buy nothing. We never accept gifts, trips or paid travel in exchange for coverage.

The pictures

Every cover in the collection is an original illustration made for Milentarium in the visual style of its game: pixel art for Kingdom Two Crowns and Dome Keeper, a picture-book valley for Snufkin, a blueprint manor for Blue Prince. None of it is official artwork, a screenshot or a real person. The gallery hall, the floor plan and the pediment logo are ours too. Game names and trademarks belong to their owners.

Made for UK readers

British spelling, PEGI age ratings, and free help services based in the UK. No pop-ups beyond one small cookie note, no autoplaying video and no tracking. Prices and age ratings stay with the official sites, which keep them current.

Tell us when we are wrong

Write to hello@milentarium.co.uk and name the game and the line. Every report is checked against the developer’s or publisher’s own information, and corrections are made on the page itself. The front desk explains what helps us most.
