Privacy notice

No accounts, no forms, no analytics and no adverts. This notice covers the little data the site does handle and the rights you have over it.

In short

We run no accounts, no sign-up forms, no analytics, no advertising and no outside scripts or web fonts. The only personal information that can reach us is an email you choose to send, plus the short-lived technical logs that every web host keeps.

Who is responsible

Milentarium publishes milentarium.co.uk and is the data controller for the small amount of personal data described here. You can reach us about anything in this notice at hello@milentarium.co.uk.

If you email us

We use your email address and your message only to read and answer it, relying on our legitimate interest in replying to people who write to us. We delete the conversation once it is finished. If it led to a correction on a review, we keep a record of it for up to 12 months and then delete that too.

Server logs

Like any website, our hosting provider may keep short-lived technical logs of requests, such as the IP address, browser type, page requested and time. They exist to keep the site secure and working, are not used to profile anyone and are deleted automatically on a rolling basis.

On your device

We set no tracking or advertising cookies. Closing the cookie note saves one small setting in your browser so the note stays closed; the cookie notice names it. The visit planner, the self-check in the visitor code, the floor plan menu and the information desk all run in your open tab only and store nothing.

Everything comes from us

Our pages, typefaces, illustrations and the one small script are all served from milentarium.co.uk. Reading the site sends no request to any other company.

Sharing

We never sell, rent or trade personal data. We share it only when the law requires us to.

Official game sites

Official-site buttons take you to the websites of other companies, usually the game’s developer or publisher. Their own privacy notices apply there.

Your rights

Under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 you can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and object to how it is used. Write to hello@milentarium.co.uk and we will reply within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Children

The site is written for a general audience and does not knowingly collect data from children. A parent or carer can ask us to delete anything a child has sent us.

Changes to this notice

If we ever change how we handle information, we will update this page and the date at the top before the change takes effect.
